Project

Creative services to celebrate 50 Years of the NSW Ombudsman

The Challenge

In 2024, the NSW Ombudsman’s Office commemorated 50 years of serving the people of New South Wales. As an independent and trusted institution responsible for ensuring accountability in public administration, this milestone presented an opportunity to honour its legacy while engaging the broader public.

CulturalPulse was engaged to deliver a creative campaign to mark this historic occasion, that would celebrate the institution’s history and help communicate its ongoing relevance to the people of NSW today.

The Approach

CulturalPulse worked closely with the NSW Ombudsman team to deliver a cohesive design of digital and display assets to be hung in Parliament of NSW that aligned with the Office’s brand and purpose. CulturalPulse delivered:

  • Early-stage creative discovery and briefing to ensure alignment of messaging, tone, and accessibility needs.
  • A commemorative 50th anniversary logo designed to align with the existing NSW Ombudsman branding.
  • The design and production of printed and digital exhibition panels for the launch event.
  • A commemorative report that reflected both the historical depth and forward-looking mission of the Office.

The Outcome

  • Delivered a unified and accessible visual identity and logo applied across all materials and a commemorative report that highlighted key achievements and future ambitions.
  • Developed a series of exhibition panels that communicated the Office’s legacy in a public-facing format and drove a successful exhibition launch at NSW Parliament House.
