One Year to Go for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia

Organisers of the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World cup commemorated ‘One Year to Go’ on Saturday 16 October 2021.

The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) T20 World Cup format will bring 16 International T20 Cricket teams to compete in 45 matches across seven world class venues across Australia.

Whilst cricket fans are counting down to the tournament in Australia in 2022, they are blessed with more cricketing action in 2021.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup qualifiers will begin in the UAE and Oman with Oman facing Papua New Guinea in the opening match on Sunday 17 October, 2021.

The tournament will be played in UAE and Oman and will help determine who joins Afghanistan, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies and hosts Australia, who have already qualified for the 2022 tournament.
