CulturalPulse wins 2026 Multicultural Marketing Campaign of the Year – recognising excellence in delivering campaigns to Australia’s culturally diverse communities
We are proud to share that CulturalPulse has won the 2026 Multicultural Marketing Campaign of the Year, awarded by Multicultural NSW. This is our second consecutive win and it reinforces our commitment to delivering meaningful impact for multicultural communities.
Winning the award recognises and celebrates our work on the SendMoneyPacific campaign. This is a powerful initiative developed in partnership with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
A Campaign Grounded in Real Community Needs

For many Pasifika families, sending money home is more than a transaction, it’s a cultural responsibility and a vital support system for their loved ones and families across the Pacific.
Yet, behind each transfer, there is often an unseen cost.
Many Pacific communities face some of the highest international transfer fees globally. Individuals unknowingly losing up to 20% of their money through fees and exchange rates.
Turning Awareness into Action
To tackle this challenge, the SendMoneyPacific platform was created — an online tool that helps users compare money transfer providers and fees. However, awareness among Pasifika communities remained low.
CulturalPulse was engaged to bridge this gap.
Our approach focused on delivering a human-centred, culturally intelligent campaign that empowered communities with the knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions.
We developed an education program in nine Pacific languages, ensuring accessibility and relevance across diverse audiences. Real-life video storytelling was central to the campaign, distributed across YouTube and Facebook to maximise reach and relatability.
The Power of Trusted Voices
Trust was at the heart of the campaign’s success.
Partnering with trusted channels such as Pasifika TV & Radio, messages were delivered by familiar and credible voices. We worked closely with faith groups, sports clubs, and grassroots community networks to embed the campaign within the fabric of everyday community life.
“We delivered a human-centred education program in nine Pacific languages and used real-life video stories to bring the message to life. Hearing relatable and trusted voices was vital to ensure the message cut through and resonated with the target audience.” – Patrick Skene, Chief Creative Officer
Measurable Campaign Impact
The campaign drove significant behavioural change:
- Before the campaign, fewer than half of users compared transfer rates
- After the campaign, nearly 70% were comparing rates across an average of three providers
- Campaign videos have generated more than 16 million views over four years
These reflect a shift not just in awareness, but in action, helping individuals and families retain more of their hard-earned income.
“Multicultural communities already hold the solutions. We’re honoured to help amplify them.” – Sevu Waqa, Pasifika community leader
A Continued Commitment to Impact
Winning this award for the second year in a row is a meaningful milestone for our team. But more importantly, it reflects the power of culturally intelligent and community-first communication.
At CulturalPulse, we believe that when communities feel heard, represented, and empowered with the right tools, real change follows.
We are proud to continue partnering with governments, organisations, and communities to create campaigns that don’t just reach audiences — but truly resonate and deliver impact where it matters most.
